Aussie beer brand Furphy shares its name with the word for an ‘unlikely story that stretches the truth.’
To launch its new Crisp Lager, Furphy created a real-life tall tale of its own, by wedging a 7.8 tonne beer truck between two skyscrapers in Sydney’s CBD. Within hours, the truck had gone viral and gained serious traction in the media.
With over 25 million impressions – the same as Australia’s population – Furphy Crisp Lager went from unknown to the country’s most talked about beer.
